Proximity/Repetition

This week we had to focus on proximity and Repetition. We were asked to design a stationary kit for a wood company, which had to include a business card, compliment card and letterhead.
Proximity
Proximity means the distance between objects and whether they are separate or seen as a unit. if items are placed close together they may be seen as they are meant to be together.
Repetition
repetition is using similar elements throughout a design. this could help bring separate pieces of design together and identify them as the same company or brand by using the same elements throughout all the designs.

Here are some Business cards etc that I liked!:

Heres what I came up with...

After the Feedback...

I had some really helpful feedback on my pieces of work, I realised that my pieces didn't come together as one as they lacked repetition. In the feedback I was told I had a strong business card so I decided to base the rest of the stationary set off that. this is what I came up with.
